A range of tour opportunities are available for delegates attending the Congress. Tickets can be purchased for these tours by completing Section E of the online Registration Form. Please note that all tours are public scheduled tours.
BridgeClimb
Date: Friday 19 September 2008
Time: 1400 – 1700
Cost: A$179 per person (weekday climb)
Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge is an exhilarating experience. Rendezvous at the BridgeClimb office for a safety briefing and prepare for your three-hour adventure! Accompanied by an experienced leader your small team will cross the catwalk to the pylon and walk up to the summit of the Bridge’s upper arch - 130 metres above sea level. Harnessed to a static line for the duration of the climb, be treated to spectacular 360-degree views across one of the greatest harbours in the world.
Participants are required to make their own way to the BridgeClimb office. Directions will be provided at the time of booking. BridgeClimb is available on other dates and times throughout the Conference. Please contact the Conference Managers should you wish to arrange an alternative climb time.
North Beaches Waterfront Sydney
Date: Friday 19 September 2008

Cost: A$82 per person
Depart the city for Sydney’s Northern Beaches; yachts, harbourside mansions, beautiful views, Aboriginal culture. Travel across the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, see board riders in the surf at world famous Manly beach. Entering Ku-Ring-Gai National Park, travel to Sydney’s most famous lookout at West Head. Enjoy views of Pittwater and Palm Beach. See ancient Aboriginal rock carvings. Rejoin your tour vehicle for the return to Sydney in the late afternoon. This is an unforgettable tour visiting secret Northern Beaches waterfront Sydney.
Sydney Harbour Coffee Cruise

Cost: A$39 per person
The Captain Cook Sydney Harbour Coffee Cruise departs daily from Sydney’s centrally located Pier 26, Darling Harbour at both 1000 and 1415. Onboard, take in all the splendid Harbour attractions including the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Fort Denison. The coffee cruise offers a truly Australian flavour, with fresh espresso coffee and fine teas accompanied with tasty Australian fare. Cruise duration: 2 hours.
Please note you will need to make your own way to Pier 26, Darling Harbour (Pier 26 is walking distance from the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre and most Sydney CBD hotels).
4WD tour to Blue Mountains

essence of the Australian eucalyptus whilst enjoying panoramic views of the famous Three Sisters. Learn how to throw a boomerang and play the Didgeridoo and get up close to kangaroos, koalas, reptiles and birds at one of Australia’s award winning wildlife parks.

These tours are offered by Tour Hosts Destination Management, a division of Tour Hosts Pty Limited (license No. 2TA001144). The tours are based on scheduled public tours, and are not offered exclusively for participants and accompanying persons attending the Leura VI International Breast Cancer Conference.
All sightseeing tours include informative English speaking commentary, all entry fees and meals where specified. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended for all tours. For any outdoor tours we recommend that participants bring sun protection cream, sun hat and sunglasses.
