It is a great pleasure to invite you to the ICMDA 13th World Congress to be held in Sydney in July 2006. The Congress theme is Health and Hope: Health because of our professional commitment and Hope because of our hope in Christ as we consider this theme in relation to our own lives and our relationships with others, and with regard to some of the world's major problems, such as injustice and uncertainty.

The Congress will aim to promote unity in the gospel, solidarity in faith, radical obedience and respect for the diverse ways in which we express our discipleship. Some outstanding guest speakers will help us in this.

It will also be an opportunity for delegates to develop international links and friendships, which will continue long after the Congress finishes.

Sydney is a wonderful city, culturally diverse, safe and situated on one of the world's most beautiful harbours. Wherever in the world delegates come from, we will make you feel welcome and relaxed.
