The 2008 Conference will be held at Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast, from 29 to 31 May 2008 and a dynamic Conference program has been designed to explore the theme of 'Improving Nutrition - a social reponsibility. A program that will enable delegates, sponsors and exhibitors to interact in both an informative and socially engaging environment.

Market place
Members are invited to display, promote and sell resources they have created for professional practice.
The Market Place will be located in the venue foyer adjacent to the conference sessions rooms and will be held on Friday 30 May 2008 from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm. The cost of participation is $100 per table for DAA members and $200 per table for non-members. Bookings will be confirmed and table allocations advised closer to the conference. Space is limited therefore interested parties are urged to lodge their expressions of interest by contacting the Conference Managers at dietitians@tourhosts.com.au or Tel: +61 2 9265 0700. Bookings close on Friday 2 May 2008.
| The market place will be available to DAA members (including official DAA groups, e.g. Interest Groups) who are registered to attend the Conference. The registered member should attend the stand for the duration of the Market Place. | |
| Government and not-for-profit agencies, such as Diabetes Australia, National Heart Foundation will be eligible to take a Market Place opportunity at twice the member rate. At least one representative should register for the Conference and should attend the stand for the duration of Market Place. | |
| The product or service must be related to nutrition and dietetics. | |
| The selling of books or material is permitted. | |
| Stall holders must be responsible for all money handling and receipts must be issued to all purchasers. | |
| The cost of participating in market place will cover table hire and administration costs. | |
| The Conference Advisory Committee reserves the right of final approval of displays. | |
