Accompanying Persons Tour Program
These tours have been designed by Tour Hosts Destination
Management (license No. 2TA001144) for participating delegates and
accompanying persons. Only the best aspects of Sydney and its environs
have been incorporated to provide value for money for persons whose
time is at a premium.
All sightseeing tours include the services of a guide, all entry fees
and meals where specified. All tours are based on a minimum number
of participants. If this number is not reached, alternative arrangements
or a complete refund will be provided. Where participants cancel their
day tour bookings prior to 18 August 2003, payment will be refunded
in full. Thereafter, no refund will be made. It is recommended that
comfortable shoes and informal dress be worn on all tours.
Tour Departure Point
All tours will depart from the main entrance of Centre
North, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Accompanying Persons Program
The following tour is included for registered Accompanying Persons
of the 3rd International Wildland Fire Conference & Exhibition
2003. If you are a delegate and require additional tickets, please

Sunday 5 October 2003
AP1 – Blue Mountains
Time: 0830 – 1630hrs
Leave the city and travel west to the mountains, where a fine mist
of oil emitted from eucalyptus trees creates a blue haze over the valleys
of this majestic World Heritage listed area.
Stop at the Norman Lindsay Gallery for morning tea and view the controversial
artwork of this famous Australian artist. View the spectacular sandstone
cliffs and valleys for which the Blue Mountains are famous.
Learn the legend of the Three Sisters – giant sandstone formations
of Aboriginal significance and descend deep into the Jamieson Valley
in the steepest railway car in Australia.
After a relaxing 15 minute walk, return to the top via the railway – used
by coal miners one hundred years ago.
Enjoy a delicious 2-course lunch at an award winning restaurant, before
returning to Sydney.
Additional Tickets: A$174.00
