Conditions Of Acceptance
All papers/presentations MUST be in English. If the presenting author
did not submit the original abstract, please contact the Conference Managers
immediately to amend the submission.
Papers that do not follow the required format will be returned for revision.
Papers that exceed the paper length will be returned for amendment before
acceptance.
All presenting authors must register for the conference by 11
July 2003 to ensure that their paper is included in the conference
program.
Deadline And Editorial Arrangements
Papers must reach the Conference Managers by 11 July 2003.
Length Of Paper
Maximum length (including tables, figures and bibliography) is 10, A4
pages.
Content And Text Arrangement
Standard symbols for measurements and the International System for units
(S.I.) should be used. Abbreviations should be spelled out at the first
occurrence with the abbreviation, in parentheses, immediately following.
Each illustration (table, figure, picture) should have a separate title,
be numbered consecutively and be referred to in the text.
All literature used during the preparation of the paper should be acknowledged
in the bibliography, where authors are listed alphabetically and, among
publications by the same author, according to the year of publication.
Bibliography format: name of author, initials, year of publication, title,
periodical or publisher, number of pages (see below). Titles of periodicals
should be in italics and should not be abbreviated. In the text reference,
the date should follow the author's last name without a comma (Aubréville
1949) and (McPherson et al. 1982).

in grafted clonal orchards at Longlac, Ontario.
The abstract originally submitted, must be included in your full paper
submission. This abstract must NOT be altered as the
original abstract will be published.
Paper Format
Authors are asked to study the following instructions and the provided
examples carefully before preparation of papers.
Paper Size
- A4 (21.0 x 29.7 cm).
Margins
- Type within the dimensions of 2.54 cm (1") margins top/bottom
and left/right.
Typescript
- 12-point font, Times New Roman
- No Syllabication
- Italics for Latin names
- Underline only words that are to appear in italics e.g. scientific
names
- Do not use “all caps” in titles or heading
- Headings and subheadings should be flush left in upper and lower case
letters
- References should be listed alphabetically under the heading
Line Spacing
- Single line spacing with one free line between paragraphs
- No indentation
Justification
- Full justification.
Page Numbering
- Pages are not to be numbered.
