The Official Conference Hotel

Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour, is located on the edge of Darling Harbour and the city fringe. The hotel's state of the art business centre offers computer and Internet access along with colour printing, facsimile and secretarial services. Enjoy a drink at Connections Bar and Lounge, or work out at the fully equipped gym, while enjoying the best in service and style. All conference delegates will receive a 25% beverage discount card for use at Connections Bar and Lounge.

The hotel boasts 346 well appointed rooms and suites with views toward the city or vibrant Darling Harbour. Hotel rooms are designed with the business traveller in mind and include work desks, data ports, voicemail and telephone with international access. Other room features include bathrobes, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, CNN and fox sport channels.

Single (SGL): single occupancy room with 1 bed
Double (DBL): double occupancy room with 1 bed
Twin (TWN): double occupancy room with 2 beds

Rates

Accommodation held by the Conference Managers has been secured at advantageous rates for conference delegates. Only bookings made through the Conference Managers will secure these rates.

Deposit

All hotel accommodation bookings must be accompanied by a minimum one night’s rate in order to secure your reservation. Without payment the Conference Managers are unable to guarantee your room. Your deposit will be passed on to the hotel. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned upon check out.

Conference Managers will accept deposits for accommodation up until 1 September 2003. All deposits received after this date will be refunded to the delegate. From 2 September 2003, credit card details can be used to secure a booking. One night’s room rate will be debited from the supplied card if the delegate fails to arrive on the specified date.

How To Book Accommodation

To book please complete the Accommodation section of the online Registration Form. The Conference Managers will forward your reservation and deposit to the hotel of your choice.

Change of Booking

Any change to a reservation must be notified to the Conference Managers and not directly to the hotel. Please note, any changes should be made to the Conference Managers by 18 September 2003. Cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Managers.

Late Arrivals

Please indicate on your registration form or notify the Conference Managers in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 1800 hours, failure to do so may mean that your room will be released.

Arrival Time

Many international flights arrive into Australia in the early morning. Hotel check-in time is usually 1500 hours. If you are to arrive before this time it is probable that you will not be able to gain access to your room. To guarantee a room to be available for an early arrival you will need to pre-register and pay for your room for the previous night. If required please indicate on your registration form.

Accommodation Refunds

The deposit is non-refundable after 18 August 2003 and will be forfeited if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked.
