AP1: Introducing Sydney
Date: Sunday 1 August 2004

Explore the vibrancy and style of cosmopolitan Sydney, one of
the world's most beautiful harbour cities. Discover colonial
buildings and cobbled lanes in The Rocks - Australia's oldest
settlement. Visit the Royal Botanic Gardens and enjoy views of
the Harbour Bridge and Opera House from Mrs Macquarie's Chair,
a waterfront seat carved into the rock for the wife of visionary
colonial governor, Lachlan Macquarie. Travel through Sydney's
fashionable eastern suburbs, renowned for their elegant homes
and harbour vistas, on the way to world-famous Bondi Beach - a
haven for surfers and sun lovers alike.
AP2: Main and Middle Harbour Coffee Cruise
Date: Monday 2 August 2004 - Thursday 5 August 2004
Time: 1000
hrs or 1415 hrs *
Additional Tickets: A$39.00 per person
This leisurely sightseeing cruise takes in views of the Sydney
Opera House and Harbour Bridge, the ever-changing city skyline,
and the magnificent waterfront homes of the eastern suburbs.
It also cruises under the Spit Bridge into Middle Harbour for
views of natural bushland and harbour beaches. Morning/afternoon
tea is included.
 *Cruise any day during the Congress, at the time of your choice.
Participants must make their own way to Jetty 6, Circular Quay.

Optional Day Tours
The following tours are optional and not included in the cost
of registration. If you wish to participate
in any of these tours please complete the relevant section on
the registration form.
All tours (except Bridgeclimb) are public scheduled tours and
depart daily from the official, listed Congress hotels.
OP1: Blue Mountains 4WD Adventure
Time: 0830 - 1830 hrs
Cost: A$155.00 per person
Let us take you off the beaten track on an intimate adventure
tour of the Blue Mountains. Just one and a half hours from Sydney
you will experience the magical beauty of the Australian bush,
ancient landscapes, native flora and fauna. Enjoy lunch in a
leafy setting and breath in the essence of the Australian eucalyptus
whilst enjoying panoramic views of the famous Three Sisters.
Learn how to throw a boomerang and play the Didgeridoo and get
up close to Kangaroos, Koalas, reptiles and birds.
OP2: Bridgeclimb

 Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge is an exhilarating experience.
Rendezvous at the BridgeClimb office for a safety briefing and
prepare for your three-hour adventure! Accompanied by an experienced
leader your small team will cross the catwalk to the pylon and
walk up to the summit of the Bridge's upper arch - 130 metres
above sea level. Harnessed to a static line for the duration
of the climb, be treated to spectacular 360-degree views across
one of the greatest harbours in the world.
Participants are required to make their own way to the Bridgeclimb
office. Details will be provided at the time of booking.
OP3: Australian Wildlife
Time: 0830 - 1200 hrs
Cost: A$69.00 per person
Walk through a spacious, open koala enclosure and discover why
the cuddly koala is one of the most unique and loved native Australian
animals. The name is an Aboriginal word meaning "no water" -
referring to the koala's ability to meet its moisture requirements
from a diet of gum leaves. Be photographed with a koala (at your
own expense) and hand feed the free-roaming kangaroos. Meet other
native animals including emus, wallabies, kangaroos, wombats
and echidnas, along with a myriad of Australian native birds - all
in a lush, bushland setting.
Tour Hosts Destination Management (License No:
2TA001144) has designed these tours for participating delegates
and accompanying persons of the 15 th World Congress on Medical
Law. All sightseeing tours include the services of a guide, all
entry fees and meals where specified. Where participants cancel
their day tour bookings prior to 14 June 2004, payment will be
refunded in full. Thereafter, no refund will be made. It is recommended
that comfortable shoes and informal dress be worn on all tours.
