An invitation is extended to all delegates and registered accompanying persons to the Welcome Reception to be held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre. Renew old friendships and make new acquaintances as we welcome you to Sydney.

Congress Dinner 1930 - 2300 hrs

Dockside Restaurant, Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour

Cost: A$130.00 per person

A memorable highlight of the Congress will be the Dinner at the Dockside Restaurant, Cockle Bay. An ideal opportunity to mingle and meet fellow delegates whilst enjoying the entertainment of the NSW Police Band and the beautiful atmosphere of Darling Harbour.

Sydney Rocks Pub Crawl 1900 - 2230 hrs

Soak up the atmosphere in Sydney's oldest pubs in the historic Rocks area. Discover the pub culture first started by colourful early settlers including convicts, sailors, whalers and larrikins. This is a great opportunity to relax with a few pints, meet the locals and enjoy some down-to-earth food in Sydney's oldest settlement . A delicious pub dinner and a drink at each establishment is included in the cost of this event

OS2: Wednesday 4 August 2004
Opera Australia Presents 'Il Trovatore' 1930 - 2300 hrs

Cost: A$206.00 per person (A Reserve)
A$160.00 per person (B Reserve)

The fiery elements that govern Verdi's unforgettable masterpiece of obsession, madness and retribution include two passionate and vengeful enemies, an old gypsy woman with a mysterious bond to them both and a passionate young woman, who must either betray an all-consuming love or face death itself. A guided tour of the Opera House and interval drink are included in the cost of this event.
