Congress Program

The WCML Congress will feature a broad range of recognised plenary speakers. Plenary sessions will be held at the beginning of each day where invited speakers will discuss vital topics, which interrelate with the main themes of the Congress. Following the Plenary sessions, oral presentations will run in three concurrent streams, which have been carefully constructed by the Organising Committee to ensure variety, consistency and originality.

In addition to the Oral presentations, daily Poster sessions will be a major feature of the Congress Program. This will accommodate for the incredible amount of information that the Congress has to offer.

Macquarie Biothetical

On Wednesday Evening, 4 August at the Maritime Museum, Congress Delegates are invited to attend this topical debate, which will be facilitated by Dr Norman Swan, Host, 'The Health Report', ABC Radio National. For further details please view the following PDF.

Satellite Meeting

The satellite meeting in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, which was planned for after the Congress will not take place, as the minimum number required to register for the satellite meeting to proceed did not eventuate.

Workshops

The Sydney Police Centre would like to invite Congress Delegates to participate in two workshops on trauma and sexual assault, which will run in the days prior to the Congress at the NSW Police Centre Auditorium. Under the guidance of moderators, presentations will be made, which will be followed by a discussion period. Further details to come.
