Several categories of accommodation have been reserved for Pacific 2006 Congress delegates:

HOTEL
Single (SGL) : A single occupancy room with one bed
Double (DBL) : A double occupancy room with one bed
Twin (TWN) : A double occupancy room with two beds

APARTMENT
2 Bedroom Apartments : Either 1 double and 2 single beds or 2 double beds

Please Note:

• The above rates include the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).
• Rates may increase without notice due to changes in government charges, taxes or levies.
• Room only rates do not include breakfast.
• Bed and Breakfast rates include Full Buffet Breakfast.
• Bed and Breakfast rates at the Mercure Grand Apartments include breakfast for up to 4 persons.
• Breakfast at the Mercure Grand Apartments will be served at Dish, a Restaurant located at the Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour which is next door to the Mercure Apartments.
• Guests staying at the Metro Hotel Sydney Central will receive a Light Rail pass valid for the length of their stay.

Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour
Official Congress Hotel

Centrally located in the heart of Darling Harbour, Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour is adjacent to the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, directly opposite Harbourside Shopping Centre and surrounded by Sydney's premier entertainment venues.  Hotel facilities include “Dish, a Restaurant”, “Liquid, a Bar”, fully equipped Business Centre, gymnasium, swimming pool and a full size floodlit tennis court. The hotel boasts 525 spacious rooms all with 24-hour room service, access to in room broadband connection, fax and internet, security key-card locks, STD/ISD telephone, radio/remote control colour TV (current channels include BBC World News), in-house movies, coffee/tea making facilities, mini-bar, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, bath and shower and individually controlled air-conditioning. The Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour will provide all delegates and exhibitors who present their registration badge at Dish, a Restaurant and Liquid, a Bar, with a 20% discount off food and beverage. This offer excludes breakfast, mini bar and room service.

Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour

The recently refurbished four star Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour is located on the city side of Darling Harbour, only a short stroll from the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre and many of Sydney's best tourist attractions. The hotel has 344 accommodation rooms that overlook either the city or have Darling Harbour views. There are also 3 disabled facility rooms. The hotel design is that of an atrium style which provides the hotel with natural light and spacious hallways. Mercure Grand Apartments Darling Harbour

The Mercure Grand Apartments Darling Harbour offers the perfect choice in apartment style accommodation. This stylish, four and a half star hotel boasts two and three bedroom self contained apartments featuring spacious lounge and dining areas, fully equipped kitchens, two beautifully appointed bathrooms and private balconies. Guests may enjoy exclusive use of the sky lit heated swimming pool, spa, sauna and gymnasium. Hotel Ibis Darling Harbour

Hotel Ibis Darling Harbour is a quality three star hotel located in the heart of Darling Harbour, within easy walking distance to the buzz of Cockle Bay’s restaurant precinct. The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre is accessible via an undercover walkway and a direct monorail link to the CBD is at the door. Room facilities include electronic key card locking system, direct dial IDD/STD telephone, remote control television, individually controlled air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, AM/FM radio and mini fridge. Metro Hotel Sydney Central

Conveniently located in Sydney’s southern CBD at the corner of Pitt and Campbell Streets and opposite the Capitol Theatre, the Metro Hotel Sydney Central offers 220 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites.

The Metro Light Rail is only a few footsteps away, providing easy access to Darling Harbour, UTS Haymarket campus, Cockle Bay Wharf, Star City Casino and the Fish Market Wharf.

Group Bookings  / Non-listed Hotels
If your organisation would like to make a Group Booking or place accommodation at hotels not listed in this brochure, the Congress Managers will gladly secure rooms and negotiate group rates on your behalf with the hotel of your choice.  With a large network of hotel contacts our experienced staff are able to ensure all your needs are met and your booking is managed efficiently.

Rates
Accommodation held by the Congress Managers has been secured at highly competitive rates for Congress delegates.

Deposit
Rooms are being held by the Congress Managers on behalf of the delegates until 14 December 2005. All hotel accommodation bookings must be accompanied by a minimum one night's rate in order to secure a reservation. The Congress Managers will accept accommodation deposits up until 14 December 2005 and will settle the deposit with the hotel. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned upon check out.

Late bookings can be made through the Congress Managers after 14 December 2005 but are subject to availability and credit card details are required to secure the reservation. One night’s room rate will be deducted from the supplied card, by the hotel, if the reservation is cancelled or the delegate fails to arrive on the specified date.

How To Book Accommodation
To book, complete either the Online Registration Form or the Registration Form attached to this brochure. The Congress Managers will forward your reservation and deposit or credit card details to the hotel of your choice.

Change of Booking
Any change to a reservation must be notified to the Congress Managers and not directly to the hotel. Please note, any changes should be made to the Congress Managers by 12 January 2006. Cancellations must be made in writing.

Late Arrivals
Please indicate on your registration form or notify the Congress Managers in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 1800 hours, failure to do so may mean that your room will be released.

Arrival Time
Hotel check-in time is usually 1500 hours. If you are to arrive before this time it is probable that you will not be able to gain access to your room. To guarantee a room to be available for an early arrival you will need to pre-register and pay for your room for the previous night. If required please indicate on your registration form.

Accommodation Refunds
The deposit is non-refundable at 12 January 2006 and will be forfeited if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked.
