Enjoy the splendour of Sydney’s sparkling harbour as you cruise
past the Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Botanic Gardens and
Fort Denison. Sail by the famous
Luna Park and the Prime Minister’s Sydney residence and marvel at
the waterfront homes of the exclusive Eastern Suburbs. After a lavish lunch
aboard, visit The Rocks - Australia’s oldest convict settlement.
During our walking tour journey back to the 19th century when The Rocks
was Sydney’s colourful commercial and maritime quarter - home to
convicts, sailors, whalers and larrikins.

Post Tour A: The Dramatic Red Centre
15 – 19 April 2005
5 Days/4 Nights

Called the Heart of the Nation, the ‘Red Centre’ is arid, dramatic, vast, a land of extremes and home of Uluru (Ayers Rock) Australia’s spectacular monolith. Discover other geological wonders such as Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), Kings Canyon and more.
Day 1: Friday 15 April
Transfer from your hotel to Sydney Airport for the flight to Alice Springs (airfares at own expense). Visit Alice Spring’s legendary Royal Flying Doctor Service and School of the Air.
Day 2: Saturday 16 April (B, D)
Travel through the West MacDonnell and James Ranges. Visit a camel farm and later stop to view majestic Mt Conner, before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. In the afternoon tour to Kata Tjuta, where there is time to walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout. View a magnificent outback sunset and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a delicious barbeque dinner in the outback.
Day 3: Sunday 17 April (B)
This morning, journey by coach through sandhill country to Kings Canyon. Hike to the rim of this spectacular Canyon where you will be rewarded with marvellous views of the Watarrka National Park. Alternatively, enjoy an easier walk on the shady Canyon floor.
Day 4: Monday 18 April (B)
Rise early this morning to catch the first rays of light over Uluru. Tour the base of the monolith with a guided walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole. Enjoy time at leisure to explore the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Return to the resort for an afternoon at leisure.
Day 5: Tuesday 19 April (B)
Enjoy a leisurely morning at your hotel or take in a birds-eye view of Uluru with an exciting helicopter ride over the spectacular monolith (additional cost).
Return to the resort before your departure flight, which must be booked to depart after 13:30pm (airfares at own expense).

Post Tour B: Reef & Rainforest

North of Cairns you’ll discover one of the most beautiful regions of Australia. Here, at the meeting point of an ancient rainforest and the Earth’s largest living coral structure, slow to a unique rhythm found only in Tropical North Queensland.
Day 1: Friday 15 April
Transfer from hotel to Sydney Airport for the flight to Cairns (airfares at own expense). Transfer from Cairns Airport to your hotel in the beachside village of Palm Cove.
Day 2: Saturday 16 April (B, L)
Cruise the Great Barrier Reef and swim and snorkel from the comfort of a pontoon. View tropical fish darting through coral gardens and enjoy a tropical buffet aboard your cruise. Enjoy a spectacular birds eye view of the Great Barrier Reef in a 10-minute helicopter flight (own expense).
Day 3: Sunday 17 April (B, L)
Journey by 4WD to the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park. Spot birds and animals in this rainforest paradise with your guide. Cruise the Daintree River in search of crocodiles.
Day 4: Monday 18 April (B)
Today is free for shopping or relaxing at your luxury Palm Cove hotel. For the active, options include golf, white water rafting, hot air Ballooning or walking in the rainforest.

Post Tour C: Hunter Valley Escape

This morning depart Sydney for Australia’s premium wine region. Upon arrival in the Hunter Valley, take time to settle into your deluxe accommodation before enjoying lunch in a typical Irish pub. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, dinner in the resorts award winning restaurant.
Day 2: Saturday 16 April (B, L)
After breakfast board the Vineyard shuttle and explore some of the 80 wineries in the Hunter Valley Region. Post Tour D: Cruise The Great Barrier Reef

Australia’s Great Barrier Reef stretches over 3,000 kilometres and features exotic island hideaways, soft sandy beaches, balmy bays and remote outer reefs. Enjoy the magic of shipboard life aboard the M.V Reef Endeavour, as you discover the tropical wonders of Fitzroy and Dunk Island and Hedley Reef.
Day 1: Friday 15 April (D)
Transfer from your hotel to Sydney Airport for your flight to Cairns (own expense). Upon arrival in Cairns board the M.V. Reef Endeavour and cruise to Fitzroy Island where towering rainforest, giant ferns and native orchids await you. Stroll through an afternoon of wonder on an escorted walk along the shady paths of this canopied wilderness.
Day 2: Saturday 16 April (B, L, D)
Arrive at Headly Reef and enjoy a full day to explore the coral gardens of the reefs marine playground. Take a trip in the glass-bottomed boat, hear the marine biologists describe life among the coral bomboras of this reef or come face to face with clouds of intensely coloured reef fish whilst snorkelling.
Day 3: Sunday 17 April (B, L, D)
A morning passage through the Hinchinbrook Channel will allow you to view Australia’s largest National Park and the golden beaches of the mainland. In the high rainforest canopies of Dunk Island – the afternoon stopover- exotic birds and plant life abounds. Drop into the Island Resort for a quiet drink, a hit of tennis, a round of gold or a swim.
Day 4: Monday 18 April (B)
Disembark the M.V. Reef Endeavour at the Marina at 8:00am, and transfer to Cairns Airport for your departure flight (airfare at own expense).

Reservations, Bookings And Final Details
Reservations should reach Tour Hosts Destination Management no later than 25 February 2005 and full payment is required at that time. No space on tours will be reserved without payment. Bookings will be acknowledged and participants advised of final details. If minimum numbers are not achieved, alternative arrangements or a complete refund of the published tour price will be made.

Maximum Numbers
The number of participants on ALL tours is limited and places will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of payment.

All tours are based on a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, alternative arrangements or a complete refund will be made.
Airfares
Domestic airfares are not included (unless otherwise stated) in the ground cost of the tour. It is strongly recommended that you travel on the suggested flights to ensure you receive all components of the tour. Our in-house travel agent is happy to arrange your domestic flights; please contact the Congress Managers.
Cancellation Fees
Prior to 25 February 2005 the full refund less A$100.00 administration fee. After this date no refunds will be applicable.
Late Fees
If bookings are received for post tours after 25 February 2005, a late fee of A$100.00 per booking will be applicable.

BridgeClimb

Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge is an exhilarating experience. Rendezvous at the BridgeClimb office for a safety briefing and prepare for your three-hour adventure! Accompanied by an experienced leader your small team will cross the catwalk to the pylon and walk up to the summit of the Bridge’s upper arch - 130 metres above sea level. Harnessed to a static line for the duration of the climb, be treated to spectacular 360- degree views across one of the greatest harbours in the world.

Aboriginal Insights & Botanic Gardens

Experience the world’s oldest living culture on a guided walking tour of the Royal Botanic Gardens, where the original inhabitants of Sydney gathered plants, seeds and roots for food and medicine. Discover how Aborigines produced a honey drink from the Banksia, roasted seeds from the Moreton Bay Chestnut and made fishing line from the bark of the Bolwarra tree. All sightseeing tours include informative English speaking commentary, all entry fees and meals where specified. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended for all tours. For any outdoor tours we recommend that participants bring sun protection cream, sunhat and sunglasses.
All tours are based on a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, alternative arrangements or a complete refund will be made. Places on all tours are limited and will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of payment. Where participants cancel their day tour bookings prior to 25 February 2005, payment will be refunded in full. Thereafter, no refund will be made.
