Conference Logo

Norma Benger, one of the members of the Conference Organising Committee, designed the Conference logo.

The logo is significant as it represents the Brolga from the North calling out to all delegates to travel to the centre of Australia (Alice Springs) for the meeting. The subject is in the heart of the Brolga. The delegates and pneumococci also surround the Brolga. The background acknowledges the traditional owners of the country where we are meeting, and they too sit and watch the Brolga and his subject.
