IS1 - Opening Ceremony "Centenary Celebration - From Dreamtime
to the Future"

Harbourside Auditorium, Sydney Convention & Exhibition
Centre The Opening Ceremony will officially begin the Session
and celebrate the Centenary of the Australian Bureau of Statistics,
the Session hosts, through an entertaining insight into Australian
culture.
Welcome Reception - “Faces of Australia”
1730 - 1930 hrs
The Ballroom, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre
The Welcome Reception will welcome all attendees to Sydney
and the Session in a relaxed environment. Guests will enjoy refreshments
and a sumptours Australian buffet whilst mingling with old friends
and new, complemented by views of Darling Harbour.

Under!”*

Delegates will have an opportunity to experience a taste of
Australia at one of Sydney’s landmark venues. Come and
experience local cuisine, live entertainment, a native animal
display and a range of activities – sure to be the highlight
of the Session! Includes transfers to and from the event.

OS1 - Discover the Historic Pubs of the Rocks - Optional
Tour
1900 - 2230 hrs
Tickets: A$ 95.00 per person
Soak up the atmosphere in Sydney's oldest pubs in the historic
Rocks area. Discover the pub culture first started by colourful
early settlers including convicts, sailors, whalers and larrikins.
This is a great opportunity to relax with a few pints, meet the
locals and enjoy some down-to-earth food in Sydney's oldest settlement.
A delicious pub dinner and a drink at each establishment are
included in the cost of this event.
Dress: Casual, with comfortable walking shoes

OS2A/ OS2B - A Night at Sydney Opera House
2000 - 2200 hrs

The Sydney Symphony Orchestra presents the 'Electrolux Master
Series'
See Will Humburg conduct works from Arnold Schoenberg's Pelléas
and Mélisande and the Vilolin Concerto written by Johannes
Brahms. This is offered to delegates and their accompanying persons
at the Sydney Opera House.
Dress: Cocktail/ Lounge Suit
A ballet, symphony or theatre performance package will be offered
to delegates and their accompanying persons at the Sydney Opera
House. Once the 2005 performance calendar has been announced,
these detail will be updated.

OS3 - Australian Wildlife by Night
1800 - 2200 hrs
Tickets: A$ 80.00 per person
Discover Australian wildlife in its natural environment during
this unique nocturnal tour to one of Sydney’s award- winning
wildlife parks. Meander along the Wildlife Watching Trail and
discover the birds, plants and animals of this unique and beautiful
place. As darkness descends, watch as the native wildlife comes
out to feed. Enjoy a typical Aussie barbeque in this picturesque
setting whilst listening to a chorus of native birds.

OS4 - Farewell Party "A Floating Affair"

The perfect way to farewell the ISI Session and the city of
Sydney, dining aboard one of Sydney’s finest vessels with
stunning, panoramic views of the Harbour. Participants will experience
the splendour of Sydney Harbour, three- course dining and entertainment
will be on offer for this special event!
