Presentation of Papers

All authors are expected to present their paper in person at the meeting.

If you are unable to do so, you must inform the Conference Managers at the earliest convenience so
that alternative arrangements can be made, or the presentation withdrawn. Authors of invited papers
must also inform their meeting organiser and suggest someone else who can present the paper.

If you are unable to attend the whole Session and wish to present your paper on a certain date, you
should inform the Conference Managers about your preferred dates when you submit the paper.
Although every effort will be made to accommodate preferred attendance dates, it will not always be
possible to schedule papers at the requested time.

The paper will be orally presented in one of the working languages of the ISI, i.e. English or French.
The author should inform the NOC and the organiser about the choice of language presentation when
you submit the paper, so that the printed program can convey this information. The Program
Co-ordinating Chair, in consultation with the Local Program Chair, will determine which Invited
Paper Meetings will be interpreted.

The oral presentation should not be a reading from the paper but should normally explain the
background and highlight the main conclusions. It should be self-contained and not based on the
assumption that the whole audience has read the paper.

You are strongly encouraged to use prepared PowerPoint or pdf slides for your presentation. Text and
graphics must be of sufficient size to ensure that, when projected, they are visible to the entire
audience. If you plan to use overhead transparencies, please inform the Conference Managers as soon
as possible. They may be able to assist you in converting your presentation to a format suitable for
computer projection.

Video and Audio Taping of Meetings

Please note that some meetings may be video taped for further use. If you have any objections to your
presentation being recorded, please notify the Conference Managers at the time of submission.
