The 'buddy program' provides a quality orientation for first timers to the CNSA Winter Congress – the annual peak event for cancer nurses in Australia.
Your 'buddy' will describe the meeting in general, how to interpret the Congress program, how best to work out which sessions you would like to attend and how best to benefit from the poster session. Industry support is integral to the Congress and your 'buddy' will explain how to navigate trade displays and benefit from them, as well as helping you get your way around practical matters such as meal breaks and what to expect from social functions.
More specifically, you may be introduced to colleagues who work in similar areas of speciality. It is anticipated you will be shown effective ways to network so that you meet new cancer nursing colleagues and contacts from around Australia.
All of this is designed to ensure that you have a great Congress.
Please indicate when registering for the Congress if you would like to be allocated a 'buddy' or if you would like to volunteer yourself to be a 'buddy'.
NOTE: Registrations will not be processed or confirmed until payment in full is received.
Payment may be made by cheque or credit card. MasterCard, Visa, Amex and Diners cards are accepted at the Congress. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to congress by THPL.
