"BURNS IN THE 21st CENTURY - Have we made a difference?" has been chosen as the theme for our Annual Scientific Meeting in 2005. This will be a fantastic opportunity to evaluate past successes and failures ,discuss recent developments and plan for future improvements in burns care. The program will be held over three days with speakers from local and international arenas.

Allied Health Forum
Tuesday 13 September 1430 - 1700
There will be an Allied Health Forum from 2.30pm till 5pm on Tuesday 13
September, prior to the Welcome Reception.The Forum is to be a case presentation
of a multi-trauma burn including severe facial burns and will be looked
at from a truly multi-disciplinary approach with presentations from Physiotherapy,
Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietitian and Social Work. This
will be followed by a open discussion from the group on the issues arising
from management of such cases. We strongly recommend and invite the full
range of allied health professionals working in burn care to attend this
forum.
