Program
'The Magic, The Mystery, The Moments – the future is in your hands' has been chosen as the theme for our Healthcare@Home Conference in 2005. This will be an important opportunity to reflect on our achievements in healthcare at home to date and to ponder the future of an increasing proportion of healthcare being provided in the home environment. Our diverse range of invited international, national and local speakers will stimulate your thinking culminating in a hypothetical led by Dr Norman Swan.
Concurrent papers will cover areas such as:
- Chronic Disease Management
- Quality and Safety
- Post Acute Care
- Dementia
- Child and Family Health
- General Practice
- The role of carers
The program will be held over two days and an exciting social program taking advantage of all that Sydney has to offer will also allow the opportunity to catch up with colleagues and meet new friends.
This program has been endorsed by Royal College of Nursing, Australia, according to approved criteria. 12 continuing nursing education (CNE) points have been allocated to the activity, which may be used by nurses as part of their enrolment in the Royal College of Nursing, Australia Life Long Learning Program (3LP).
