How To Book Accommodation

Rooms are being held by the Congress Managers on behalf of the delegates until 23 April 2004. To book, simply complete the online registration form. The Congress Managers will forward your reservation and credit card details to the Sutera Harbour Resort.

Credit card details must be provided to guarantee your booking. All delegates are responsible for settling their account upon check out. The full accommodation costs will be paid directly to the hotel in Malaysian Ringgits.

Late bookings can be made through the Congress Managers after 23 April 2004 but are subject to availability.

Airport Transfers

Transfers can be arranged on your behalf, to and from Kota Kinabalu Airport to Sutera Harbour Resort, at an additional cost of A$16 round trip. This expense is to be paid directly to the hotel during your stay. If required please advise the Congress Managers when booking your flight.

Arrival Time

Hotel check-in time at the Sutera Harbour Resort is 1400 hours. If you are to arrive before this time it is probable that you will not be able to gain access to your room. To guarantee a room to be available for an early arrival you will need to pre-register and pay for your room for the previous night. If required please indicate on your registration form.

Change of Booking

Any change to a reservation must be notified to the Congress Managers and not directly to the Sutera Harbour Resort. Please note, any changes should be made to the Congress Managers by 12 May 2004. Cancellations must be made in writing.

Accommodation and Transfer Cancellation policy

Accommodation cancelled after 23 April 2004 will incur a cancellation fee equal to one night's accommodation. Transfers cancelled after 23 April 2004 will incur a A$16.00 cancellation fee. This fee will be charged to the credit card provided.

Flights

Malaysia Airlines has been appointed the official international airline. Special rates for flights to Kota Kinabalu have been negotiated for conference delegates.

Seats have been reserved on Malaysia Airlines departing Sydney on 25 May to arrive Kota Kinabalu on 25 May and return on 29 May 2004. Other departure dates are available, please complete the airline information on the registration form to book your flight or if you wish to fly at other times.

A AUD$200 deposit is required within 14 days of booking the flight.

Terms and Conditions

These fares are exclusive of taxes and will be notified at time of booking. The fare is not guaranteed ntil the booking is confirmed and deposit is received. Any changes to dates or flights may require reassessment of the fare. Additional charge will apply on Australian domestic sectors. Final payment is required 30 days prior to departure. Any seats not ticketed will be released.

Travel insurance is recommended. The Conference Managers will not take any responsibility for loss of goods, money etc due to cancellation or accidents.

Cancellations And Refunds

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers. Cancellations received:

Before 24 February 2004 will receive a 50% refund
After 24 February 2004 deposit will be forfeited
